Lectores are those individuals who proclaim scripture at Mass. Mientras los lectores se preparan para leer, they often find it leads them to a deeper prayer life as they read and reflect on the bible readings.
Ministros Eucarísticos assist with the distribution of the Body and Blood of Christ during communion at Mass. This is a great way to connect with other parishioners during liturgy and to deepen your spirituality through reflection on the presence of Christ in the Eucharist.
Both ministries take place during regular weekend Masses and do not require a lot of time outside of what you already commit by coming to Mass. Please prayerfully consider serving the parish by sharing your time during Mass to fill one of these ministry roles.
Training for both Lectors and Eucharistic Ministers will be held on June 20 and June 27 de 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM. Please plan to attend both evenings. We will meet in the Double Classroom in the Education Wing. Sign up aquí.
