Please be advised that St. Sabina Catholic Church is aware of a situation in which an individual served as Eucharistic Minister at 8am Mass on Sunday, September 26, has since tested positive for COVID-19.
Per CDC guidance:
If you were within 6 feet of any minister (music, communion, usher) or parishioner other than your family members for 15 minutes or more over a 24-hour period,you may have been exposed to someone who has tested positive with COVID-19. You should self-quarantinefor 14 days from the date you had close contact and closely monitor yourself for anysymptoms of COVID-19.
A close contact is defined as any individual who was within 6 feet of the infected person for a cumulative total of 15 minutes or more over a 24-hour period, with or without a face covering; or any individual who had unprotected contact with the infected person’s body fluids and / or secretions. (i.e., being coughed or sneezed on, sharing utensils or saliva, or providing care without appropriate protective equipment) starting from 48 hours before the person began feeling sick until the time the patient was isolated.
